Protein dietary supplements or medication? Peddlers provide narcotic substance in protein, pickle jars in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Town police busted a nexus of drug peddlers who provided narcotic substances in protein dietary supplements and pickle jars and used personal travels buses to ferry the contraband. The small print surfaced after the police crew arrested businessman M Krishna Kishore Reddy (59) with cocaine.
The Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) officers arrested Kishore from his Banjara Hills home on December 31 for allegedly possessing two grams of cocaine. Kishore mentioned that he procured the substance from a Bengaluru-based provider who’s but to be arrested.
“Kishore procured cocaine from a Bengaluru-based peddler by way of personal journey buses. The peddler packed the medication in protein complement and pickle jars. Bus drivers had been used as couriers. The peddler used to ship the small print of the bus, driver and the parcel to Kishore,” mentioned a police official.

Kishore was first caught by the regulation enforcement businesses in June 2021 as a drug client after the arrest of a Yemeni drug provider. After the arrest, he even attended a rehabilitation programme.

Police arrested Yemen citizen Abdurabu Mohammed from Banjara Hills and confiscated 17 grams of cocaine, 73 ecstacy tablets, eight grams of MDMA and 15 grams of charas from him.

Kishore was recognized as one of many customers who used to buy medication from Mohammed. At the moment, Kishore sought immunity from prosecution below part 64-A of NDPS Act by volunteering to attend a drug rehabilitation programme.
